🛒 Key Ingredients

- Pizza Sauce - we like to use Easy Homemade Pizza Sauce (made from tomato paste) or storebought to make the prep easy and super quick.
- Crescents - any storebough biscuit dough will do, I chose crescents because it's easy to shape them into the witch hats.
- Cheese - Mozzarella is the classic pizza choice, but you can use gouda, gruyere, or colby jack too.
See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.
✏️ Substitutions & Variations
- Go sweet! Nutella or peanut butter/cookie butter + marshmallows + chocolate chips or sprinkles. Then decorate them with drizzled chocolate or frosting and sprinkles on top. So fun!
- Try a chicken bacon ranch version with cooked chicken + bacon + Ranch dressing for the sauce. Yum!
- Add a flavored cream cheese spread or tomatillo cilantro dressing + jalapeños or pepperoncinis for a spicy option.
🧑🍳 Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 ℉ and get 2 baking trays ready with parchment paper or silicon mats.

- Step 1. Separate the biscuits into rectangles (made with 2 rolls) Roll them out with a rolling pin into flat rectangles, making sure there are no gaps in the middle.

- Step 2. Spread a spoonful or two of pizza sauce in a triangle shape in the middle of each rectangle.

- Step 3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the pizza sauce.

- Step 4. Place 3 pepperoni really close together, overlapping is best.

- Step 5. Start at the top right corner and fold it diagonally towards the bottom left corner until it covers the pepperoni.

- Step 6. Fold the top left corner ACROSS to wrap around the right edge of the triangle. This makes it a little taller and looks better than a squatty witch hat.

- Step 7. Flip the bottom of the roll up about 1 inch to make the brim of the witch hat. Tuck a pepperoni into the brim and curve the top of the triangle down and the two bottom corners up to look like the edges of a hat.

- Step 8. Transfer to lined baking pans and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown. Serve with pizza sauce to dip in!
❄️ Make Ahead, Store, and Freezing Tips

Refrigerate: once cooked and cooled, 2-3 days in airtight container.
Reheating: warm in oven at 300°F for 5-7 minutes.

I love how easy it is to change the fillings. Green chile, olives, pineapple and ham, etc. So fun for Halloween!
