Peach lemonade with brown sugar is tangy from the juicy peaches, has rich caramel notes from the brown sugar, and is quick and easy!
You can make this lemonade with fresh peaches, frozen peaches, or even canned, just make sure to reduce the sugar a little. I make Blackberry Pear Lemonade with canned pears and it's amazing!

Lemonade made with brown sugar is a darker gold color, and it's also made with peaches with the peels still on when blended so the color is. Definitely more orange than yellow. This is a no-cook and no roast method, although it's fun to try it that way!
It's also SO much faster to make lemonade without peeling the peaches first, I'd much rather blend and strain.

- Taste: You can taste the peaches, and the brown sugar just a little. It's a nice little touch and it's even better with just a little vanilla extract.
- Ease: This is a no-cook method, using the blender and strainer makes this recipe SUPER easy and less messy than peeling every peach.

✏️ Substitutions & Variations
- Add a thin slice or two of fresh ginger or mint for a nice zing.
- You can use coconut sugar or honey for sweetener alternatives.
- Make sparkling peach lemonade by reducing the water by 2-3 cups, and adding club soda in its place.
- Roast the peaches on a baking tray at 400 degrees F for 15-20 minutes to begin to caramelize the peaches and release the juices.
No-Cook vs Simmer vs Roast
Quick Blender Method: no cooking, leaving the peaches peeled, and using a mesh strainer to separate the pulp from the juice.
Classic Simple Syrup: make a simple syrup with a 1:1 ratio of water and sugar or peach juice and sugar at a gentle simmer on the stovetop, then cool to room temperature before pouring into the lemonade pitcher.
Roasted for flavor: Combine the brown sugar and peach halves (with peels on and pits removed) in a bowl and mix. Roast the peach halves on a roasting pan in the oven preheated to 400 F for 15 minutes, then pour the peaches and juice into the blender while warm.
Grilled for juiciness- grill peach halves and/or lemon halves for 3-4 minutes before juicing and blending to help release juices.
🧑🍳 Instructions

- Step 1. Make the peach purée: wash and prepare the peaches by slicing and removing the pits. No need to peel, we're blending the whole peach! If you use frozen peaches make sure they're thawed before you blend them up. Blend for 1 minute or more to make sure they're as liquid as possible.

- Step 2. Pour the peach pureé through mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher. It may take a few minutes to drain and need help by pressing with a rubber spatula. Measure out the peach juice to make one to one and half cups.

- Step 3. Squeeze lemons to make one cup of juice. (It's okay if there's a little extra).

- Step 4. Add the peach juice, lemon juice, and brown sugar to a pitcher. Stir well until sugar is dissolved.

- Step 5. Add in vanilla and water, and stir until well mixed, then add ice to serve. Garnish with lemon or peach slices or a sprig of mint. Vanilla helps to enhance the flavors, I add it to drinks like Brazilian Limeade to level them up.
| Ingredient | Amount | Ratio (to Peach Juice) |
|---|---|---|
| Peach Juice | 1.5 cups | 1 |
| Water | 6 cups | 4 |
| Brown Sugar | ½ cup | 1⁄3 |
Quick Notes:
- This makes a light, sweet lemonade.
- For stronger peach flavor, reduce the water to 5 cups.
- For a large batch, double the ingredients for a party pitcher.
❓Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! You can use dark brown sugar if you want to taste it more in the lemonade. Brown sugar is made with white granulated sugar mixed with molasses, so the only difference between light and dark is that there is more molasses mixed into the dark brown sugar.
Yes! You can freeze the lemonade and it will stay fresh tasting as long as it's in a freezer safe container.
With a little bit sugar to help release the juices, at a high oven temperature for a short amount of time. Roasting the peach halves at 400 F for 15 minutes should do it. No need to remove the peels first.

This drink is pretty freakin good. Just don't be like me and puree your peaches so much that it just goes straight through the strainer 😂
I also used store bought lemon juice cause I'm a little lazy.
Turned out great! Perfect for an upcoming party of mine!
