In a large heavy bottomed pot, cook ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat until browned and broken into little pieces, about 5 minutes.
Add onion, bell peppers, corn, beans, and tomatoes.
Add in all the seasonings: chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and Ranch seasoning mix if desired. .
Bring mixture to a boil, then turn down the heat to simmer for 20 minutes so the spices can cook into the veggies

Crock Pot friendly! Simply brown the ground beef until cooked through in a frying pan, and add to a crock pot with remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
